Omni William Penn Hotel, Pittsburgh, November 17-20, 2017
We're in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for one of the largest gatherings of communities fighting back against fossil fuels. Over the weekend we'll be sharing stories, strategy, skills and plans to collaborate.
Watch the Livestream
We'll be hosting livestreams throughout the conference from the Stop The Frack Attack Facebook page.
Why Host The Summit?
With Trump in office, connecting our local and state fights is critical. The oil and gas industry is making plans to aggressively expand, putting more and more lives and livelihoods are on the line. Folks fighting pipelines, oil trains, refineries, LNG, fracking, the tar sands, and other forms of fossil fuel extraction are all here in Pittsburgh. Let’s build towards a just climate future together.
The Frontlines Must Lead
The people most affected by fossil fuel development must lead. Nobody knows the stories of climate and social injustice like they do. They know what it takes to win. The conference will center communities across the US and Canada fighting for a just climate future. Outreach and programming for the summit are being developed by grassroots and frontline activists.
