Field Trips

While we’re in Pittsburgh, we want to support the local communities directly impacted by the fossil fuel industry and pay tribute to an exciting exhibition nearby. That’s why we’re organizing two field trips on Sunday, November 19 starting at 2:30 PM. RSVP now to one of the trips before spots fill up. Transportation and lunch will be provided.

  1. Local Impacts Tour: Join us for a tour of major oil & gas extraction, processing, and transmission facilities within an hour of Pittsburgh to hear from community members, see the pollution with your own eyes through Earthworks’ infrared FLIR camera, and learn how to use FracTracker’s new monitoring app. Sign up here to reserve a seat on the local impacts tour.
  2. Visit the Lummi Nation Exhibit: Join us for a visit to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History to see an exhibition called “Kwel’ Hoy: We Draw The Line” based on the Lummi Nation’s Totem Pole Journey to bring attention to proposed threats to water, land, and our collective future. RSVP here if you’d like to attend.
